Blair Hansen

Blair Hansen brings over 36 years of investment industry experience and knowledge to Hansen Wealth Management. As CEO, Blair is responsible for firm strategy, product knowledge and portfolio construction.
Prior to Hansen Wealth Management, Blair joined Kidder Peabody, a NYSE member firm in 1981. His next position was Vice President from 1985 to 1990 with Sutro and Company, a San Francisco based regional firm. During 1990 he became an independent advisor with Associated Securities and established his branch office in San Jose. Blair became a shareholder with Associated and also served on the company Board of Directors. He was actively involved with negotiations when the firm was acquired by a large west coast insurance company.
During the period of 2000 to 2017 Blair was a member of National Planning Corporation, a west coast based Financial Services Firm. During this time he was also actively involved with a Professional Group "The Planners Network". Blair served on the Board for the Planners Network and held numerous executive positions including Chairman and President. 
With the sale of National Planning Corporation in 2017 Blair then joined KMS Financial Services Inc., based in Seattle Washington. KMS is an independently operated, wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thallman Financial Services, Inc.
